Clean-up

A face cleans up twice a week, helps maintain skin hydration levels, and prevents skin issues caused by dryness, such as flakiness and itchiness. It also brightens your skin and reduces tanning and pigmentation.

If you have any skincare products that you swear by, you can use them to clean your face at home.

Cleansing

Start by reviewing if your face has any leftover makeup. Then, you can use all-natural makeup remover to remove any excess makeup gently. All-natural makeup remover is kind to sensitive skin and replenishes dehydrated skin. Since a cleanser alone can’t remove all the dirt and makeup, oil cleaning with makeup remover helps remove any remaining traces.

Steaming 

Keep your face a few inches out from the bowl or steamer, and shroud your head with a towel. Steam for as long as your skin can tolerate (not more than 5 minutes), and then gently wipe the face with a tissue. This step works well for oily skin. Steaming also helps expel toxins, cleanses your look even further, and aids in getting rid of blackheads and whiteheads. 

 Exfoliation

Exfoliating your skin is an excellent way to get rid of these dead skin cells, and it also conditions the skin to absorb other products better. Choose a natural scrub that is mild on the skin. Use it to scrub your face for about 3 minutes. Evade putting too much pressure while cleaning as it can harm your skin. Instead, leave it on for about 3 minutes before you wash it off. 

Applying Face Pack 

The idea of applying a face pack is relaxing and calming! But a face pack (or a face mask) does a ton more than calm your nerves.

Irrespective of your skin type, applying a moisturizing face pack makes your skin soft and improves your skin tone. 

Toning

Toning is another crucial step of face clean-up. It rejuvenates the skin, seals the pores, and keeps the skin hydrated. Use a chemical-free and gentle toner as per your skin type. 

Moisturizer

Moisturizing helps to keep your face hydrated and also handles specific skin problems. For example, use a nourishing cream on your face and neck. You may even use a moisturising serum or an anti-aging night cream if you’re doing the face clean-up at night.
